At the heart of the Quais du Polar festival, <\/span>Polar Connection<\/b> marks a key milestone on the agenda for crime fiction professionals A shared interest in the genre has brought all these French and international participants together for many editions. The event serves above all as a platform for exchange, reflection, and collaboration. <\/span><\/p>

Located at the Palais de la Bourse, Polar Connection was designed as a comprehensive toolkit for French and international professionals in the book, audiovisual, digital, and cultural sectors\u2014and beyond. Over the course of three intense days, participants will have the opportunity to explore the infinite potential of the crime fiction genre and related current topics in the creative industries through discussions, workshops, and inspiring encounters. The program also promotes B2B meetings and networking opportunities, particularly during social events such as cocktail receptions. <\/span><\/p>

Le prix Polar en S\u00e9ries \u2013 Scelf 2026 <\/span>valorise la production litt\u00e9raire du polar francophone en mettant en lumi\u00e8re des \u0153uvres pour leur potentiel d\u2019adaptation en s\u00e9rie audiovisuelle. Con\u00e7u en collaboration avec la SCELF<\/span> \u2013 Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Civile des \u00c9diteurs de Langue Fran\u00e7aise \u2013 ce prix s\u2019int\u00e8gre dans le programme professionnel de Polar Connection, cr\u00e9ant ainsi une passerelle essentielle entre l\u2019univers du livre et de l\u2019audiovisuel.
Le prix Polar en S\u00e9ries \u2013 Scelf r\u00e9compense un roman noir, thriller, ou polar francophone pour ses qualit\u00e9s intrins\u00e8ques et son potentiel d\u2019adaptation. Les \u0153uvres s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es illustrent la cr\u00e9ation litt\u00e9raire dans le genre polar et offrent des perspectives riches pour une adaptation en s\u00e9ries.
Polar en S\u00e9ries repose sur un appel \u00e0 candidature lanc\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s des maisons d\u2019\u00e9dition sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans le polar. <\/p>

The 4-handed Polar<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Among the highlights of this edition, we include the presentation of the 4-handed Polar. A collaborative writing project between two authors, one French and the other from a crime town, their 4-handed thrillers already form a collection with the complicity of Points editions.
<\/span>This year\u2019s \u2018Polar \u00e0 4 mains\u2019 is the result of a collaboration between France and Iceland<\/strong>, in which the Icelandic novelist Eva Bj\u00f6rg \u00c6gisd\u00f3ttir<\/span> <\/strong>and the French author J\u00e9r\u00f4me Loubry <\/strong>take turns writing a story set between Lyon<\/strong> and Reykjav\u00edk<\/strong>.

<\/span>As part of Polar Connection<\/strong>, a meeting with the authors, publishers and translator is planned to discuss their creative process and their perceptions of borders, which lie at the heart of their stories. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
