In 2025, Quais du Polar is joining forces with the Municipal Libraries of the City and metropolitan area of Lyon to organize a fourth Polar award for the libraries of the City and Metropolis of Lyon. Invested in the festival thanks to meetings, activities and highlighting the collections, the librarians have made a selection of thrillers among their favorites of the year, and will reward their favorite book published between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024 :

• Malheur aux vaincus by Gwenaël Bulteau – La Manufacture de livres

• Reine by Pauline Guéna – Denoël

• La Sagesse de l’idiot by Marto Pariente – Gallimard/Série noire

• Les Âmes féroces by Marie Vingtras – Éditions de l’Olivier
