Each year, Quais du Polar offers the opportunity to discover Lyon in a different way, through a Great Urban Investigation. Participants follow a path where clues, scattered in unusual places or in actors’ lines, must be discovered in order to solve the enigma.

The Great Investigation 2026 - Who killed Roger Nome ?
When an internationally renowned researcher is found dead in the heart of the Gerland biodistrict, the world of scientific research is in turmoil. Between murderous formulas and mathematical formulas, the investigation is at a standstill. Rivalry between researchers? Misunderstanding? Chance? The neighbourhood’s elders also have their say as the top-secret laboratories strive to solve the case…
The stakes are high and there is an urgent need to find the culprit: come and add your brainpower to the mysteries of the genome…
In the heart of Gerland, discover the soul of a neighbourhood that was destined to become the centre of global scientific research. Then continue your quest along the Presqu’île, where the first links between Lyon and the history of medicine were forged.
