Following an amazing 20th edition, we look forward to seeing you again for the 21st edition of the Quais du Polar festival, hosted in Lyon from April 4 to 6, 2025!
The Quais du Polar Festival, France’s and Europe’s leading cultural and festive event dedicated to the genre of noir, brings together over a whole weekend avid readers, thrill-seeking cinephiles, detectives wannabe, escape game enthusiast and curious strollers…
The scheduled events and the attendance of internationally-known authors in Lyon will guarantee the festival a large audience in the media and the public (100,000 visitors in 2024), and arouse genuine interest among the professionals involved.

If your project is selected by the association, we will include your event on the website or in the festival guide (20,000 copies printed and distributed across Lyon).
REQUIREMENTS FOR PROJECTS:

Stick to the spirit of noir and thrillers
- Take place during the festival dates: between Thursday, March 27 and Sunday, April 6, 2025 (for meetings with our guest authors: from Thursday, April 3 to Sunday, April 6, 2025).
- Take place in the festival area (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes)
- Have a venue for your event (the Quais du Polar Festival does not have available venues for structures).
