Join the Quais du Polar adventure!
After an exceptional 21st edition, we look forward to seeing you again for the 22nd edition of the Quais du Polar festival, which will take place from 3 to 5 April 2026 in Lyon!
The Quais du Polar festival is France and Europe’s leading cultural and festive event dedicated to crime fiction. Over the course of a weekend, it brings together avid readers, film buffs in search of thrills, amateur detectives, partygoers and socialites, curious strollers and more. The events scheduled and the presence of internationally renowned authors in Lyon ensure that the event attracts a wide audience from the media and the public (100,000 visitors in 2025) and generates real enthusiasm among the professionals involved.
WHAT IS ÉCHOS POLAR?
We invite you to join the festival according to your ideas and current program, in whatever form best suits the promotion of your activities and projects. There is only one rule: stick to the spirit of noir and crime fiction!
After the acceptance of your project by the association, we will include your event on the website or in the festival’s printed guide (20,000 copies published and distributed throughout the Lyon area).
REQUIREMENTS FOR PROJECTS:
Stick to the spirit of noir and crime fiction
- Correspond to the festival period: between Thursday 26 March and Sunday 5 April 2026 (for meetings with the Festival’s guest authors, from Thursday 2 April to Sunday 5 April 2026)
- Take place in the festival area (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes)
- Disposer d’un lieu pour votre événement (le festival Quais du Polar ne dispose pas de lieux à mettre à disposition des structures).

- Call for proposals opens: Wednesday, 1 October 2025
- Return deadline: Wednesday, 10 December 2025
- Shortlist of selected projects: mid-December 2025
- Deadline for submission of communication materials: Wednesday, 21 January 2026
